Washington Square park.

A great place for a packed lunch or just a coffee/tea is Washington Square park in Greenwich village. Walk down from Union square or take the metro. Notice the Empire state far away in the back?

The hip West Village

The DVF store is featured in the first part of the MTV reality hit show "The City"

The High Line, West Village.

The High Line is an old railway line that has been turned into a walking area with flowers and trees. 

A walk along Bleecker street.

I always start walking down 8th Avenue from 14th street.

Flowers in the park of Abingdon square. Bleecker street starts from here on the west side. The red store under used to be Helena Christensen´s store "Butik" in Hudson street. It does not exist anymore. 

Greenwich village is very different from Midtown, much more GREEN..

From Bleecker street I like to look down Perry street as that is where we find Carrie´s front door from Sex and the City, and down Charles street as that is where the actress herself, SJP lives.

Every day tourists (like me) walk up and down this street to take a picture of the famous door.
